Now when I thought of Bali, I thought hippies, laid back vibes, exotic, deluxe, bohemian, yoga, red sunsets and deserted beaches not shops everywhere, overcrowded beaches, clubs, health freaks and Australians left right and centre.
The thing is you can find the more chilled areas, however you need to spread your wings a bit further than kuta beach.
I would suggest renting a moped in order to get to more remote beaches and just cruising through the island ( which is actually quite large) until you hit some amazing hidden treasures.
Here are some pics of my holiday and of course some easy to wear beach outfits. I literally packed my hand luggage in 10 minutes so I really had to mix and match my pathetically low number of clothing items including one sarong that was a lifesaver. I have so many lovely beach outfits in my closet but when you don’t have time to pack you just throw in anything you can grab. Guys if you go on holiday take at least 1 hour to pack!! 🙂
Here we are splashing about at the water festival in Bangkok ( little pre- holiday stop over) the sarong here saved my precious hair from getting absolutely soaked 🙂
This is one of my favourite beach outfits. I love yellow
And this is one of my favourite bars in Bali
Here we are mixing and matching. Tops and underwear can also be used as bikinis haha
Views from bali’s volcano tops
Now I love the monkeys. I don’t know why but there is something about seeing them in their natural habitat
There is my wild man hunting to bring home the meat haha
One of the little hidden treasures we found at this deserted beach
Red wine and coke on the beach and there is that sarong again ha
Now there is the Bali sunset I had in mind, only took 5 days to see some pink skies haha and of course once again the sarong to end it off
Xxx until next time
